Photo Sharing Corner-Marina Resort Pangkor

First of all, happy study week to all public University students. Is time to study and fight for our final,.but unfortunately, I really don't feel like studying yet, give me some time to get my study mood back. I was back to my kampung, Ayer Tawar yesterday noon. Awww, although not my original home, but it still better than staying in hostel because I got to taste home-cooked yes! no more oily, spicy and no-vegetable meal haha Well, I can say, this simple gathering and visiting aren't in my plan for this break but we managed to make it, as I'm not that kind of people who can make decision in short while. By the way, we really had fun and enjoyable time together. Here are some photos that we manage to take.(Wanted to learn photo shooting recently, I'm just a beginner)

A total different phase of my life. part 1.

I read trough my dashboard just now, and I realized something, my last post was 5 weeks ago. Seriously I didn't notice 5 weeks passed that fast, and I have been busying with a lot of stuffs until  a point where I don't have time to blog. I still remember what happened during this 5 weeks, I can say, it was the peak of my Sem 2, my 1st year, or even my whole life. I never been trough situation like this before, 1st time ever in my life I experienced something like this, bitter-sweet moment. Oh, kind of emotional right now. (not that 'emo' we used to describe ppl one ar). Hmmm, well, end of April till now was the busiest moment where assignments, meetings and events bundled up together, and at this point I'm kind of suffocated. I still remember, I slept late, really late, around 3-4am, not one day, but few days in continuous. My eye bags were so obvious, zombie-look face, and my roommate told me, I often dream-talking. hahaha Honestly, I faced depression sometimes, not that serious one, no worry, but I feel really down when you have a lot of stuff queuing up, and STILL new assignments or responsibilities added in. Plus when you have problematic group mate with you, helpless man. However, thanks God I managed to cope this, I know I never alone, God is always there.

Well, I involved in 2 big events this sem, PKA farewell night and Chinese Society event 理大文娱观摩---The Kira。Proudly announced that this 2 big events have become a past tense, the memories of my 2nd semester. 一切都告一段落,虽然过去了,但是都成为我们最美好的回忆。

Pka farewell night is a dinner and gathering to celebrate the graduation of the seniors, and to thanks them for their faithful serving in PKA that it is  in-charged by all the 1st years. It was actually a pretty good way to bond all the 1st years together when preparing for this event. From zero to the event day itself, I can feel the difference in our friendship especially for us who joined the mime performance. We spent time together to learn every steps, to practice and finally performed in front of the seniors. Look back, it was quite fun right although we always practice until midnight. haha I was in the registration department, 1st time collecting such big amount of money, it's a bit tough for me, kinda messy also, but luckily I have 3 of them who work with me, I think all of us had done our best. Honestly, it was a new thing for me, I did learned something from this department. Beside that, the 1st-years will have to perform mime performance on that day, it's kind of traditional for Pka Farewell night where every year the 1st-years will have to perform it in front of all seniors. We attended almost every practices, I had a hard time at the beginning to memorize the steps, I guess most of us faced the same problem haha but slowly I can see everyone of us do well. No doubt, we bond our friendship during those practices. Sounds nice right ? haha

Before and after for our mime performance. Epic one haha

There were 70 of us. Such a big family

Come on, the 1st-years were doing well

Enjoyed that night although I didn't get to eat much, and busy waiting for the late-comers hehe Thanks God for the good whether we had on that day, Thanks God the place was nice and big enough to fit all of us just nice. Thanks God for putting me in Pka and serve for Pka as well, let me continuously grow in this big family and in God as well. Pai Seh, I only managed to write about Farewell night. I will continue my 2nd part in the upcoming post ya. Stay tuned ! :D

Jom Makan!

Hello, happy holiday to most of the public university's student out there. Yeap, we are having our mid-term sem break at this moment. The timing is just nice when everyone was tired or lowed energy because of dealing with assignments, attending meeting, activities and so on...This holiday is kind of our changer, to get enough rest and get ourselves charged. I can see and feel the business I'm going to face after this holiday, one by one, they are queuing up already, scary though. OK, lets not talk about holiday, it isn't what I want to share today. What I'm going to share with you guys is all about FOOD. Talk about food, I think of this girl, (you know who you are, if you get to read this), she just can't get enough of food haha only food that matters! Well , I got to explore some new food which I never get to taste before I enter USM in Penang.

Firstly, Raja Uda Tom Yam mee. Located in Seberang Perai. (北海). So sorry I couldn't remember the stall's name cause I only focus on the food that moment. Its like steamboat, you can choose whatever ingredients you want, such as fishball, meatball, mushroom, meat and so on. The price will count base on what and how many ingredients you took. My one costs me around RM6. Personal opinion towards this bowl of tom yam mee is, it taste good but it is too sweet for me. I prefer tom yam that taste saltier and not too spicy. Overall, I think this tom yam tasted good :) Should give a try haha

Secondly, this drink named Ba Bao susu. Its a mixture of Ba Bao and milk together. First time ordering this out of my friend's recommendation. I drink Ba Bao before (its tasted like herbal tea 凉茶) and milk, but never try this mixture before. Creative haha In my opinion, this one tatse quite special, but its already in my expectation, maybe because I have tasted Ba Bao and milk separately before. Anyway, it's nice of course. It cost around RM 1.70
Thirdly, USMers, it's specially for you, cause I got to try this in Subaidah. Well, people out there, you can also try this whenever you visit mamak stall, but not every mamak stall have this I guess. This is Thosai kaya. Name sounds great, isn't it ? I used to eat roti canai, roti telur, roti ....... or thosai, thosai bawang but for THOSAI KAYA, its my first time. Maybe it isn't that famous among Malaysian. Look at the picture, you can SEE it's crunchiness, for those who ever taste thosai before, we know thosai tasted sour, so imagine the sourness of thosai combined with the sweetness of kaya plus some dhal curry, ahhh indescribable!! so unique man. I love this . It only cost me RM 1.60.
Lastly, Ipoh-famoused Chu Choeng Fan! For people who live in Selangor, our chu cheong fan is totally different. We used to eat chu cheong fan with sweet source, but this one taste salty. It include some shrimp (虾米), and other ingredients which I couldn't remember. Don't ever judge the book by its cover, although it doesn't looks good, but it taste good. I did love this food when the first time I try, but the second time, it was a lil bit too salty. By the way, its still worth a try, hope that the next time I try,it won't taste so salty anymore haha
phew, finally it comes to an end. Seriously, not an easy thing when you try to blog about food. I can see lots of grammar mistakes and also the sentence structure's mistakes. Please bear with me hahaha
